We have been doing fun activities to celebrate 100 days of learning. We have done 100 exercises, read The Wolf’s Chicken Stew, made necklaces out of 100 Froot Loops, and they created pictures using the number 100. I loved seeing their 100 collections that they shared with class, thank you for helping them put these together!
We had a special package delivered on Monday, and inside was this sweet elf. We had to do some math to figure out her name, which is Frost. She moves around the room and we are writing about her in our Elf Adventures books. Today, she hid candy canes for us to enjoy.
What do we do if we can’t go outside to play? Check it out.
Thanks so much for coming in and spending time carving pumpkins. I love to see how different they all turn out and the kids enjoyed this time with their dads or special guests.
Day 4 of red ribbon week-they had some amazing costumes today!
Red Ribbon week day 3–team up against drugs!
Red Ribbon Week, day 1–pajama day!
What an awesome day for a field trip! A big thank you to all the parents that joined us.
Every Friday we get together with the 3rd graders in Mrs. Thrush’s class to listen to books they read to us. It’s a wonderful opportunity for my kids to be exposed to more books and listen to a more experienced reader. They are doing a great job with this so far.
We had so much fun at the Fairbanks petting zoo today. A big thank you to the FFA and Mr. Riddle for making this happen.
